There are various systems and approaches of system design that are characterized by a significant distance from the user. However, it must be questioned under which circumstances the acceptance and the corresponding intensity of use (in general) is particularly high. In this context the expertise of technology acceptance research is used to accurately include the user perspective – if possible – in the evaluation of artefacts. Particularly discussions regarding the TAM or the social-identity-theory approach could lead to further advancements. For other facets, however, known or expandable evaluation models for different artefact-types are required.
